The information on this website is offered in good faith and describes the counselling Anna Meech provides. It is general information, not clinical advice about your particular situation, and it is not a substitute for therapy or medical care.

Not a crisis service

This website is not a crisis service and enquiries are not monitored continuously. If you need urgent help, contact your GP, call 999, or call Samaritans free on 116 123.

Professional standards

Anna is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred), membership number 161797, and works to its Ethical Framework. She holds professional indemnity insurance and attends regular clinical supervision.

Sessions

Sessions are held online and last 50 minutes. Fees are on a sliding scale of £60 to £80 per session, depending on your means, and are agreed with you before therapy begins. The initial consultation is a full 50-minute session at the same rate.

Payment

Payment is due [TO CONFIRM: for example in advance of each session, by bank transfer].

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give at least [TO CONFIRM: for example 48 hours] notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice are [TO CONFIRM: charged in full / charged at half the fee].

Ending therapy

You are free to end therapy whenever you choose. Where possible, a final session to close the work well is helpful, and Anna will always offer one.

Confidentiality

Sessions are confidential, with the limited exceptions set out in the privacy policy.
